3. POWER SUPPLY AND START-UP
• This product is supplied with a 16 A CEE7/7 type socket and must be connected to a single-phase electrical ins-
tallation with earthed neutral, between 208 VAC and 240 VAC (50 - 60 Hz). The effective absorbed current (I1eff) is
indicated on the device for maximum conditions of use.
Check that the electrical installation and its protections (fuse and/or circuit breaker) are compatible with the current re-
quired in use. This equipment is designed to be able to operate on an electrical installation equipped with a 16A curve
C, D or K circuit breaker.
In some countries, it may be necessary to change the plug to allow use at maximum conditions. The user must ensure
that the socket is accessible.

• The device goes into protection if the supply voltage is greater than 265 Vac (the message
MAINS FAULT is displayed on the screen). Normal operation resumes when the supply voltage
returns to its nominal range.
3.1. CONNECTION TO GENERATOR
This equipment can operate with single-phase generators provided they meet the following requirements:
- The voltage must be alternating, adjusted as specified (208-240 Vac) and with a peak voltage lower than 400 V,
- The frequency must be between 50 and 60 Hz.
- The power must be at least 15 kVA
.It is imperative to check these conditions, as many generators produce high voltage spikes that can damage equip-
ment.

3.2. USE OF EXTENSION CORD

This equipment can be connected to the electrical installation by means of an extension cord provided that it meets
the following requirements:
- Single-phase extension with earth conductor
- The length should not exceed 10 m
- The section of the conductors must not be less than 2.5 mm²

3.3. CONNECTING THE GUN TO THE GENERATOR

The connection and disconnection of the gun control connector
to the generator base must be done with the generator switched
off.
The gun control connector ring must always be screwed correctly
into the base of the generator before the product is switched on.
It is possible to connect anArcPull 700 gun to this generator. In this case, use texas 25mm² -> 50mm² adapters (2 x
038127) to connect the gun texas to the generator bases.
