Operating manual
TRANSPORT AND TRANSIT OF THE WELDING CURRENT SOURCE
The welding power source is equipped with a top handle allowing it to be carried by hand. Be careful not to underestimate its
weight. The handle is not considered a means of slinging.
Do not use cables or gun to move welding power source. It must be moved to a vertical position.
Do not pass the power source over people or objects.
Never lift a gas bottle and the power source at the same time. Their transport standards are distinct.
HARDWARE INSTALLATION
• Place the welding power source on a floor with a maximum inclination of 10°.
• The welding power source must be sheltered from driving rain and not exposed to direct sunlight.
• The equipment has an IP33 degree of protection, meaning:
- protection against access to dangerous parts of solid bodies with a diameter >2.5 mm and,
- protection against rain directed at 60° from the vertical.
This equipment can therefore be used outdoors in accordance with the IP33 protection index.
Stray welding currents can destroy ground conductors, damage electrical equipment and devices, and cause components to heat
up which could result in a fire.
- All welding connections must be firmly connected, check them regularly!
- Make sure that the fixing of the part is solid and without electrical problems!
- Tie down or suspend all electrically conductive parts of the welding source such as frame, carriage and lifting systems so that they are isolated!
- Do not place other equipment such as drills, sharpening devices, etc. on the welding source, the trolley, or the lifting systems without them being
isolated!
- Always place welding torches or electrode holders on an insulated surface when not in use!
Power, extension and welding cables must be fully uncoiled to prevent overheating.
The manufacturer assumes no responsibility for damage caused to persons and objects due to incorrect and dangerous use of
this material.
MAINTENANCE / ADVICE
• Servicing should only be performed by a qualified person. An annual maintenance is recommended.
• Disconnect power by unplugging, and wait two minutes before working on equipment. Inside, the voltages and currents are
high and dangerous.
• Regularly, remove the cover and dust with a blower. Take the opportunity to have the electrical connections checked with an insulated tool by
qualified personnel.
• Regularly check the condition of the power cord. If the power cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its after-sales service or a
similarly qualified person, in order to avoid any danger.
• Leave the openings of the welding power source free for the entry and exit of air.
• Do not use this welding power source to thaw pipes, recharge batteries or start engines.
2. DESCRIPTION OF THE MATERIAL
.
The GYSPOT ARCPULL 350 is a single-phase inverter arc-drawn welding machine that allows welding of inserts
(studs, internal threaded studs, insulation nails, pulling rings, rivet extraction rods, etc.) on aluminum or steel based
materials. It has a Synergic operating mode, a Manual operating mode. The Programs menu allows you to store and
recall weld setups.
