Remove the knurled nut (n°2 - Fig 2) from
the gun drive shaft and screw the stud
holder support into it.
Lightly screw the protective gas nozzle
onto the stud holder support, insert the
stud holder into it as far as it will go and
tighten the protective gas nozzle
Assemble the gun for rod installation with
the shoe (pay attention to the positioning
of the holes) and mount the assembly on
the gun rods.
Loosen gun knob (#3 in Figure 2).
Adjust the barrel so that the tip of the rivet
extractor rod protrudes slightly (0.5-2mm)
and tighten the gun knob.

Note 1: Prepare the ground rods as explained in §6.1.
Note 2: Prepare the stud holder as explained in §6.2.
