The ceramic ferrule support must be chosen in correspondence with its diameter

6.7.3. INSTALLATION OF THE ACCESSORY ON THE GUN
Repeat the first 2 steps of the procedure for positioning
the stud holder in the gun drive shaft
Mount the adapter at the end of the rods and tighten the
two rod clamping screws
Place the ceramic ferrule on the adapter.
Loosen the gun knob (n°3 - Fig 2).
Adjust the assembly so that the end of the part to be
welded protrudes slightly (0.5 - 2 mm) from the edge of
the ferrule.
Tighten gun knob.

Bracket too big
Unscrew the two screws and remove the ceramic sup-
port from the adapter
Reposition the correct support on the adapter (millings
facing outwards) and retighten the two screws.
