External device monitoring (EDM) and reset

 If the operating mode "without external device monitoring (EDM)
and reset" is selected, a connection must be made between X1
and X2.
Static resetting (RESET)
In the wiring it is to be ensured that the (re-)closing or resetting
(RESET) of the protective device is not allowed to initiate any machine
movement or operation, if this can result in a dangerous state
(cf. EN 60204). In this case an additional measure must be provided,
e.g. the incorporation of the start button in the wiring (cf. Fig. 7).
Select the correct installation site for the reset button
The reset button is to be installed outside the hazardous area such
that it cannot be pressed from inside the hazardous area. The user
must also ensure that there is nobody in the hazardous area before
the reset button is pressed.
 The wiring for the external device monitoring (signal contacts on
the contact elements) is to be installed in the same control cabinet
in which the evaluation unit is fitted.
