Both valves are fed through a single gas port, with 1/8 Gas thread.
To supply the inert purge gas to the pump through the purge/vent
device, connect a gas purge line to the common 1/8 Gas thread port.
The purging device automatically provides about 20 sccm when fed
with 1 bar (14 psi) absolute (atmospheric pressure).
The following instructions detail how to install the purge/vent device
on the pump.

Pump used with Corrosive Gases – Pump Purging
Unscrew the four M
block;
Remove the standard purge block paying attention to not remove
the sealing o-ring placed on the body;
Insert the purge/vent device into the rectangular seat previously
occupied by the standard purge block (see the following picture
for correct alignment and orientation). Pay attention that the
sealing o-ring on the body remains well positioned on its seat
during this operation;
