Description of the Turbo-V 750/850 TwisTorr
WARNING!
The pump must always be cooled before starting using it. Running the pump
without cooling it could damage inside components.
The pump can be cooled by water or by forced air: in the first case
the customer can use the dedicated stainless steel channel on the
pump body, in the second case an external optional fan 48 Vdc is
available (model 969-6503). A first thermistor sensor is mounted near
the upper bearing in order to read the bearing temperature and to
prevent the pump from overheating (the actual value can be read by
WIN 204). If the thermistor reading exceeds 60 °C the pump fails and
stops with Error Code = 2 (WIN 206). If the thermistor reading is
below 0 °C, the pump fails and stops with Error Code = 1 (WIN 206).
See Window Meanings section for details.
A second thermistor sensor is mounted near the water-cooling
channel in order to evaluate the wa-ter cooling efficiency (the actual
value can be read by WIN 222). If the thermistor reading exceeds 55
°C the pump fails and stops with Error Code = 2 (WIN 206). See
Window Meanings section for details. A third thermistor sensor is
mounted inside the controller in order to monitor the internal board
temperature (the actual value can be read by WIN 216). If the
thermistor reading exceeds 65 °C the pump fails and stops with
Error Code = 4 (WIN 206). See Window Meanings section for details.
During normal operation, the motor is fed with a voltage of 27 Vac
three-phase at frequency minor or equals 825 Hz.
During operation the controller limits the power provided to the
motor according to:
314/406
Gas type load (selectable WIN 157: see the following "Window
Meanings" paragraph)
Cooling mode (selectable WIN 106: see the following "Window
Meanings" paragraph)
Body temperature (can be read by WIN 222).
Electronics temperature (can be read by WIN 216).
