If the supply cable is damaged, it must
be replaced by the manufacturer,
the manufacturer's service partner
or similarly qualified persons in order
to avoid a hazard.

5.1.7 Start/stop of pump

The pump must only be switched
Caution
on and off three or four times
per hour from the mains supply.
If the pump is switched on/off more frequently, the input
for external ON/OFF should be used to switch the pump.
When switched on from the mains the pump only starts
after 20 secs.

5.2 Remaining connections

Connection of the external electrically isolated contacts
for external ON/OFF and digital function, external
reference signal, sensor signal and fault indication
signal is shown in figs. 8.

terminals 2 and 3 should be bypassed
with a short lead.
For safety reasons the conductors
of the following connection groups
must be mutually separated
by additional insulation throughout
their length:
1. Inputs
(external ON/OFF, digital function, bus,
reference value and sensor signals, terminals 1-9,
and bus connection, terminals A, Y, B).
All inputs (group 1) are separated by additional insu-
lation from the parts connected to the mains and are
electrically isolated from other circuits.
The supply voltage to all control terminals is protec-
tion low voltage (PELV). This ensures protection
against electric shock.
2. Output (fault indication relay, terminals NC, NO, C).
The output (group 2) is electrically isolated from other
circuits. Therefore mains voltage as well as protection
low voltage can be connected via this electrically
isolated output if necessary.
3. Supply voltage (terminals L1, L2, L3).
An electrically reliable separation must comply with
the requirements for additional insulation with asso-
ciated leakage and air paths according to EN 50 178.
