12. Ambient temperature/installation height
If the ambient temperature exceeds +40 °C or the motor
is installed more than 1000 m above mean sea level, the
rated output of the motor is reduced by the diminished
cooling effect of the air. It may be necessary to use a
larger motor. In principle, motors may only be used up
to max. 40 °C.
