2.5.3 Mounting the universal assembly system

Universal assembly systems are available for the EU
and FU trays. Further information on the components
can be found in the Appendix. The basic elements (two
each) are the matching side parts and connecting rods
for the trays:
- Basic element type B-2, art. no. 8854238,
for EU tray
- Basic element type B-3, art. no. 8854243,
for FU tray
Universal clamping bars, for example, are used as
assembly systems.
- Universal clamping bars type U, art. no. 8854254,
for basic element B-2 / B-3

1. Place the side parts (1) on the tray and screw them
tight, see Item (1a). 4 screws are provided for each side
part. Fit the connecting rods to the side parts as shown
in Item (1b).
2. Fit the clamping bars for the assembly system with
universal clamping bars, see Item (3). You require 2
clamping bars and can add others as necessary.
3. Place the shaker containers between the clamping bars
and distribute them evenly starting from the middle of
the tray. To adjust the clamping bars, you can undo
the clamping screws (3a/3b) and move the clamping
bars. Tighten the clamping screws (3a/3b) by hand so
that the containers do not become loose during
operation.
