11.1

Operation with the integrated cooling unit

No provisions need to be made for condensation
drainage for a cabinet shaker with integrated cooling
unit. Any condensation that occurs can evaporate in
the device.
To avoid defects, a protection circuit switches the
cooling unit permanently off above +38.5 °C.
11.2

Connection of external devices

On the back of the device the CERTOMAT® CTplus has
a 15-pin Sub-D socket for analog signal outputs and a
group alarm contact.

11.2.1 Analog outputs (ANALOG OUT)

For external registration of speeds and temperatures,
e.g. from a recorder, the CERTOMAT® CTplus has
analog signal outputs (0 ... 10 V)
The following conditions apply here:
0 V equals 0 rpm
Speed:
10 V equals 400 rpm
0 V equals 0°C
Temperature:
10 V equals 70°C
The termination resistance on the voltage outputs must
not exceed 10 kΩ.

11.2.2 Collective alarm

Via the 15-pin sub-D "ANALOG OUT" socket two
potential-free contacts are available on PIN 7/8/15
which can be used to externally register alarm
situations.
