3.2.1 Installation and settings
1. If you have changed the installation site (e.g. cold
room <-> laboratory), wait until the device has
reached room temperature before placing it into
operation. Otherwise air humidity can condense in the
device and cause malfunctions.
If you have transported the CERTOMAT® CTplus with
integrated cooling unit, the device must only be put
into operation after a waiting period of one hour.
This avoids danger to the cooling unit.
2. Connect the CERTOMAT® CTplus to a suitable mains
socket with the mains cable.
3. Turning the mains switch (2) supplies the electronics
with line voltage.
After switching on the control unit the integrated DCU
system initialises. This takes approx. 1-2 minutes. The
system is ready for operation when the "Main" menu
appears on the screen. The "Main" menu gives a
schematic overview of the system with symbols for
temperature, shaker speed, status of the illuminance
and cooling, for example, as well as the measured value
displays associated with them.
The "Main" menu is the starting point for operating the
CERTOMAT® CTplus.
