2.2.2 Electrical connection

You need a protective contact socket with 230 V,
50 Hz or 115 V, 60 Hz, depending on the national
standard. Do not connect the device to the mains if
the connection conditions in the laboratory do not
match the data on the nameplate.
If the laboratory does not have appropriate device
connections, the person responsible for service at
Sartorius Stedim Systems GmbH can fit a suitable
device connector.

CO
as the control gas.

Check the type of gas and its suitability for the
designated purpose. Make sure that all lines are
connected correctly and cannot become loose from the
connection. Check whether the gas pressure is adjusted
to the specified value. If gas lines are not connected
properly and the wrong gas pressure is used, CO
escape. Elevated CO
and can lead to suffocation.
Ventilate the rooms in which CO
gas from time to time. Gas content increases in closed
rooms and can reach concentrations that are hazardous
to health. Avoid direct breathing in of the air from the
interior if CO
is used.

The CO
connection is located on the right rear of the

connections are safely secured! If there is any
overpressure, the gas lines can become loose on the
