For PTFE- and stainless steel flasks of 3 ... 7 ml you can
use the holder delivered with the homogenizer.
•
For the PTFE flask of 20 ml, for the container for
disposable test tubes, for the reaction vials with
standing rim and for the cryo tubes, you will need to
use the holder cat.-no. 8531897.
1.
Unscrew socket head screw of the connector (4) and
insert the holder for shaking flasks (1). Lock holder with
socket head screw (2).
2.
Unscrew the locking nut or thumb screw (9) of the
holder (1) and turn the head clamp (8) bolt
anticlockwise until the flask (5) or container can be
inserted.
3.
Insert the shaking flask into the holder, with its bottom
part directed to the locating hole of the holder. Turn
head clamp bolt clockwise to locate the flask. Tighten
the bolt hand-tight.
4.
Lock the head clamp screw with the locking nut or
thumb screw

For disposable test tubes, the shaking container cat.-no.
8531889 will be used together with the special holder,
cat.-no. 8531897
1.
Mount special holder into the connector as shown for
the holder of standard flasks, see 3.2.2.
2.
Fill sample and process materials into the disposable test
tubes. Close test tubes. Refrigerate, if necessary.
3.
Place test tubes into the container. Close container with
cap.
4.
Mount container into the holder and start the unit,
see 3.2.2.

If the container for cryo test tubes cat.-no. 8532001 or
cat.-no. 8531960 or for reaction vials 2.0 ml with
standing rim cat.-no. 8531944 are to be applied you
can proceed in the same way.
