Squeeze the Syringe to transfer air into the Cuff Seal
until adequate insufflation is achieved.
12.5.
With the Syringe still depressed, close the Seal Valve.
HOLD
NOTE: The Seal prevents loss of insufflation pressure
while allowing for endoscopic movement.
CAUTION: If the Seal is over-inflated, Endoscope
and accessory movement can be affected. If
required, reduce the Seal force by opening the Seal
Valve and withdrawing a small volume of air back
into the Syringe.
13. Endoscope Removal and Reinsertion
13.1.
The OverTube Seal should be deflated prior to
removal and reinsertion of the Endoscope.
NOTE: If using insufflation, de-activating the Seal will
cause the loss of gas / pressure.
13.2.
Open the Seal Valve.
13.3.
Fully withdraw the Syringe plunger to remove all air
CLOSED
from the Seal.

Close the Seal Valve.

This product must be treated as a potential biohazard after
use. Dispose of in accordance with accepted medical practice
and applicable local, state and federal regulations.

Slowly remove the Endoscope from the patient.
Re-apply additional lubrication to the Endoscope
sheath and Hub opening as required prior to
reinsertion.
NOTE: This is the same for procedure used for
specimen or foreign body retrieval.
CAUTION: Do not try to remove specimens or
foreign bodies that are larger than the OverTube can
accommodate.
Slowly retract the OverTube and Endoscope out of
the patient.
WARNING: During removal of the OverTube, do not
advance or retract against resistance.
