Only wear Adjustable Compression Devices ACD
if they have been prescribed by a doctor. These
systems should only be dispensed by properly
trained staff at a medical retailer.
In addition to use by medical specialists, ACD
are also suited for long-term and self-therapy if
patients or their carers 1) are able to do so based
on their cognitive and motor skills and 2) have
been instructed in the correct use by medical
specialists. ACD have been exclusively designed for
the specific body part (foot, lower leg, knee, thigh,
hand and arm) in accordance with the relevant
product designations. Based on their short-stretch
properties, ACD have mechanically limited elasticity.
The desired treatment effect is based on correct
use. After adjusting the hook and loop fasteners,
the user must therefore ensure each time that the
product exerts pleasant, noticeable compression. If
you feel pain or notice any other problems, loosen
the touch fasteners immediately.
