6, Press the [REC] button once or twice to select the
REC

function.
7. Start recording in one of the following ways:
a) Play the first drum notes. This will start the recording with-
out the Arranger drums. You can add them whenever you like
by pressing [START/STOP]. The drums will then start at the
next downbeat.
Note: If you start recording without the Arranger drums and want
to bring them in at a later stage, it would be a good idea to switch
on the metronome.
b) Press the [START/STOP] button to start Arranger drum
playback with the selected Division.
C) Press [SYNC START] to activate this function, and press
one or several keys. The Arranger drums will start in syne
with your first notes.
8. Stop recording in one of the following ways:
a) If you started recording using methods (b) or (c) above,
press [START/STOP] to stop both the Arranger and record-
ing.
b) Press [REC] again.
с) Press the [ENDING] button to start the Ending phrase. As
soon as it ends, recording stops.
Listening to your song
Press the [START/STOP] button to listen to your song. See
also page 54.
Second recording pass
Operations are the same as for recordings made with the
Arranger, so please see page 52. Here, you can add more
drum notes (using the same Drum Set as the one you selected
before you started recording), or play the melodic part using
the Upper1/2 parts.

7. Lancez l'enregistrement d'une des maniéres suivantes:
a) Jouez les premiers coups de batterie. Vous lancerez ainsi
l'enregistrement sans la batterie de l'Arranger. Vous pouvez
l'ajouter quand vous le voulez en appuyant sur
{START/STOP]. La batterie débutera au premier temps de la
mesure suivante.
Remarque: Si vous lancez l'enregistrement sans l'Arranger et sou-
haitez l'introduire ultérieurement, il vaut mieux activer le métro-
nome.
b) Appuyez sur Je bouton {START/STOP] pour lancer la
reproduction de l'Arranger avec la division sélectionnée.
©) Appuyez sur [SYNC START] pour activer cette fonction et
appuyez sur quelques touches. La batterie de l'Arranger com-
mence en synchronisation avec vos premieres notes.
8. Arrêtez l'enregistrement d'une des manières suivantes:
a) Si vous avez lancé l'enregistrement avec la méthode (b) ou
(c), appuyez sur |START/STOP] pour arréter l'Arranger et
l'enregistrement.
b) Appuyez une fois de plus sur [REC].
€) Appuyez sur le bouton [ENDING] pour faire débuter le
final, Une fois cette phrase terminée, l'enregistrement s'arréte.
Ecouter votre morceau
Appuyez sur le bouton [START/STOP] pour écouter votre
morceau. Voyez aussi page 54.
Deuxiàme session d'enregistrement
Les opérations sont identiques que pour les enregistrements
en mode Arranger; veuillez donc voir page 54. Ici, vous pou-
vez étoffer votre partie de batterie (avec le máme Drum Set
que celui sélectionné avant le début de l'enregistrement) ou
jouer une partie mélodique avec les parties Upper 1/2.
