10. Remove the protective backing all around the edges
on both sides of the new protective cover. Do not re‐
move the protective backing entirely.
11. Place the protective cover in the edge protection
frame and align it. Make sure that the label with the
replacement date is visible and legible from outside.
12. Place the mountings in position.
13. Fasten the mountings with the hex nuts.
14. Remove the protective backing on the inside.
15. Place the edge protection frame with the protective
cover into the protective door.
16. Fasten the edge protection frame with the protective
cover by means of the countersunk bolts (10x).
17. Remove the protective backing on the outside.

5.3 Checking the measuring accuracy
The measuring accuracy of the DCI 700 must be
checked by the EP test service every 2 years. The EP
test service has the accessories needed to check the
measuring accuracy and is a requirement for certifica‐
tion to ISO 9000.

5.5.1 --- Problems performing functions
Fault
The message Disconnected is displayed
by the "DDM" software.
After the DCI 700 is switched on, the
screen remains dark and the operating
display does not light up on the monitor.
Touchscreen not functioning.
After the injector has been removed, a
large amount of test oil emerges from
the injection chamber.
Test oil emerges at the knurled nut on
the injection chamber during the test.
The values for the amount of test oil are
too high when injectors are tested.
The values for the amount of test oil are
too low when injectors are tested.
No amounts of test oil are measured
when injectors are tested.
