9. Place a collecting container
of the test oil tank.
10. Open the drain cock of the test oil tank
drain the test oil out of the test oil tank (filling ca‐
pacity = approx. 50 liters) into the collecting con‐
tainer.
– Alternative: Use an external test-oil pump to
pump the test oil out of the test oil tank and into
a collecting container.

5.2.2.2 Flushing the test oil tank
1. Flush the empty test oil tank with test oil. Collect
the test oil emerging from the drain cock in a col‐
lecting container.
2. Clean the test oil tank with lint-free cloths.
3. Flush again until all dirt residues have been removed
from the test oil tank.
4. Close the drain cock of the test oil tank.
