Every 2 years
Inspect the power supply cable for scuff marks, bare
spots and discoloration. Replace a damaged or discol‐
ored power supply cable immediately.
DANGER! – Danger of electric shock. Disconnect
the DCI 700 from the mains voltage system.
Inspect the motor connection cable for scuff marks
and bare spots. Replace a damaged motor connection
cable immediately.

the DCI 700 from the mains voltage system.
Inspect the electrical connection in the junction box
of the drive motor, on the power supply unit, on the
frequency inverter and at the main switch for loose at‐
tachment. Tighten loose connections.
DANGER! – Danger of electric shock. Disconnect
the DCI 700 from the mains voltage system.
Electrostatic discharge can damage components
on the circuit boards. Implement ESD protective
measures before starting maintenance work. Use
only ESD-capable tools.
Remove dust particles and dust balls from the elec‐
tronics compartment and computer unit.
Clean the vent grille on the drive motor.
Clean the vent grille on the frequency inverter.
Check whether the fan of the frequency inverter is
blocked. Clear any blockage.
Inspect the signal cable of the frequency inverter for
stuff marks, bare spots and discoloration. Replace a
damaged or discolored signal cable immediately.
Clean the fan and cooling fins of the heat exchanger.
Clean the vent grilles of the heat exchanger cover and
test oil area.
Clean the vent grille on the test bench housing.
Use the EP test service to check the measuring accu‐
