Condensate drain
Risk of slipping on a wet floor in case of the collecting vessel overflow.
Switch off the compressor every time before emptying the vessel!
Carefully and slowly open the drain valve. Quickly opening the drain valve is
accompanied by a loud sound and uncontrollable stream of accumulated
condensate.
Compressors without air dryer
Draining the condensate from the pressure vessel is recommended during regular operation.
Switch off the compressor at the mains. Reduce air pressure in the device to max. 1 bar by releasing
air via a connected device.
Release the drain valve from the clips on the compressor base. Place the open end of the hose into
a suitable container and open the drain valve (1) to drain off the condensate from the container.
In cabinet mounted compressor models, the condensate may be drained outside of the cabinet.

• Compressors without a dryer may be equipped with the Automatic Condensate Drain to allow the
condensate to drain without operator intervention (see chap. 8.2.).
Compressors with air dryer
• Condensate from compressors with air dryers is automatically drained into a
condensate collection vessel.
• The vessel must be drained regularly, see Chapter 19.1
Monitor the level in the vessel using the 1 l or 2 l markings (depending on the
volume of the vessel), and empty at least once a day. The vessel may overflow if
the condensate is not drained out of the vessel at the defined interval.
