Instructions for use
Preparing the ice cream maker
Remove the freezing container from the outer container and place it into the freezer overnight
(for at least 18 hours)
.
Preparing ice cream mixture
Prepare ice cream mixture following the recipe (p. 21 and following pages), place in the refrigerator
and leave to cool – the lower the initial temperature of the ice cream mixture, the faster the ice cream
is prepared
.
Useful hint: You can also quickly cool the mixture in the freezer in just 30 minutes; do not exceed this
recommended time.
Assembling the ice cream maker
Insert the cooled freezing container into the outer container and place the mixing blade inside.
Place the lid onto the ice cream maker so that the axis of the blade is in the centre of the lid.
Attach the handle onto the axis of the blade
.
Ice cream preparation
Pour a maximum of 600 ml cooled ice cream mixture (up to 4 cm below the upper rim of the
container as a maximum) through the opening in the lid and immediately begin continuously
turning the handle
.
Blend the mixture by slowly turning the blade so that the mixture does not freeze to the walls of the
container. As soon as the mixture begins to set, hold the ice cream maker from above while blending.
Any additional ingredients can be added to the ice cream maker through the opening in the lid.
The mixture will set after approx. 15 to 20 minutes and is ready for serving. The time of ice cream
preparation depends on the type and initial temperature of the mixture.
Fruity ice cream / Sorbet
To prepare more watery ice cream with fruits (sorbets), blend the mixture more intensely.
Serving ice creams
Remove the handle and the lid, remove the mixing blade and gather the prepared ice cream from
the freezing container using a plastic or wooden spoon or spatula. You can serve the ice cream
