9. Check the concentricity at the check collar of the collet chuck and,
where appropriate, align.
ü The collet chuck is fitted with camlock bolts.
5.4

Fitting the flange pursuant to DIN ISO 702-3 with stud bolts

Flange pursuant to DIN ISO 702-3, see Optional accessory [} 77].
1. Clean the mating surfaces of the Spannzangenfutters and of the flange.
2. Place the flange with the external fit on the Spannzangenfutter and
firmly tighten with the holding screws (provisionally 5 Nm).
3. Tighten the holding screws with the specified tightening torque (see
Checking the Tightness of Screw Connections [} 87]).
4. Put machine into set-up mode.
5. Clean the fitting surfaces of the Spannzangenfutters and the machine
spindle.
6. Check the fitting surfaces of the machine spindle for radial and axial
run-out.
7. Place the Spannzangenfutter with flange in the correct position on the
machine spindle, so that the machine spindle's protection against tor-
sion takes effect and can be inserted into the bayonet disk.
