Adjusting for Trendelenburg Positioning

To adjust for Trendelenburg positioning, press the Trend/Pelvic Tilt button on the siderail (see
(Outside siderail) on page
page 1-39). Release the button when you achieve the desired angle.

Adjusting for Pelvic Tilt

Pelvic tilt provides additional tilt and comfort for the patient when you raise the fowler.
To adjust for pelvic tilt, press the Trend/Pelvic Tilt button on the siderail (see
page 1-34) or on the optional pendant (see
the button when you achieve the desired angle.

Adjusting the optional lumbar pillow

The inflatable, full-width lumbar pillow supports the patient for back labor, and the seat pillow enhances perineal
visibility.

Note: The lumbar controls are only compatible with the Air mattress.

Illuminating the room with the night light

The Birthing Bed is equipped with a night light that illuminates the floor area. The night light automatically activates
when the light in the room becomes dim.

Positioning the Glideaway footrests

To position the Glideaway footrest:
1. Grasp the footrest and pull it up and around the foot section
2. Grasp and attempt to move the footrest to make sure that the footrest is locked in the upright position.
