k) Configuring the bell
The bell function can be turned on and off. Press the bell but-
ton (2) on the keypad to activate the bell via the relay.
Start your entry with the * key, followed by
the current master code (in this example,
the factory preset code "123456" is used).
Press the # key to confirm your entry. A long
beep/buzz indicates the switch. The red LED
flashes every 1.5 seconds to indicate that
programming mode is enabled.
Enter the digit "5" and add "0" to turn off both
bells. Press the # key to confirm your entry.
Enter the digit "5" and add "1" to turn on the
internal bell. Press the # key to confirm your
entry.
Enter the digit "5" and add "2" to turn on the
external bell. Press the # key to confirm your
entry.
Enter the digit "5" and add "3" to turn on
both bells. Press the # key to confirm your
entry. In the factory settings, both bells are
activated.
After you have configured the settings, press
the * button to exit programming mode.
