d) Replacing the battery (opening button)
Pre-installed battery

A CR 2032 button cell is already inserted in the battery compart-
ment upon delivery. The plastic protective strip prevents the bat-
tery from discharging prematurely. To remove it before first use,
proceed as follows:
• First, remove the back plate on the opening button.
• Pull the plastic protective strip out of the battery holder.
• Replace the base plate to close the battery compartment.
Do not use a rechargeable battery to power the
opening button.

• If the battery level of the opening button is too low, the red and
green LEDs will turn on alternately two times.
• When this occurs, you should replace the CR2032 battery
within one week. Proceed as follows to insert or replace a
battery:

• First, remove the back plate on the opening button.
• Insert a button cell (type CR2032), observing the correct
polarity. The positive (+) terminal must point outwards. Ensure
that you pay attention to the polarity markings inside the
battery compartment.
• Replace the base plate to close the battery compartment.
