11. Operation

a) Inserting the batteries (keypad)
• Remove the back cover (base plate) from the keypad to
access the battery compartment.
• Insert three AAA batteries (not included) with correct polarity
into the battery compartment (observe plus/+ and minus/-).
The polarity is indicated in the battery compartment.
• Seal the battery compartment with the base plate.
b) Low battery indicator
• If the battery level of the keypad is too low, three beeps will
sound each time you press any button on the keypad, and the
LEDs will light up in yellow.
• When this occurs, you should replace the 3 x AAA batteries
within one week.
c) Replacing the batteries (keypad)
• Follow the steps below to replace the batteries:
• Remove the back cover (base plate) from the keypad to
access the battery compartment.
• Remove the used batteries before inserting the new batteries.
• Proceed as described in section "a) Inserting the batteries
(keypad)".
