the head

Remove the upper cap
•
Remove the spring and replace it if it is
out of the wear limit.

Remove the valve from the head
•
Remove the gasket of the valve guide
VALVE GUIDES MUST BE REPLACED WHEN THEY ARE
WORN TO THE POINT THAT REPLACING THE VALVE
ALONE IS NOT ENOUGH TO ELIMINATE CLEARANCE BE-
TWEEN VALVE STEM AND VALVE GUIDE BORE.
