5.6.2 Manual Mode

5.6.2.1 Width Manual Entry
— Measure by hand with the steel rim gauge (Figure
5-16) or acquire data from the rim.
• Acquire rim nominal width by reading the value on
the rim or on the tyre.
— Press on the Width value (B, Fig. 5-17), or on the
relative green arrows; the number box indicates the
possibility of editing the value.
— Manually turn the wheel forward or back to obtain
the value corresponding to that measured or read (or
alternately press on the green arrows), then press
again to assign the value.
5.6.2.2 Distance Manual Entry
• Correctly position the measuring arm (Figure
5-18) and read the value (1) from the scale on the
measuring arm rod.
• Press on the Distance value (A, Fig. 5-17), or on
the relative green arrows; the number box indicates
the possibility of editing the value.
— Manually turn the wheel forward or backward to
obtain the value corresponding to that measured or
read (or alternately press on the green arrows), then
press again to assign the value.
5.6.2.3 Diameter Manual Entry
• Acquire rim nominal diameter by reading the value
on the rim or on the tyre.
• Open the RIM DATA ENTRY screen.
• Press on the Diameter value (C, Fig. 5-17), or on
the relative green arrows; the number box indicates
the possibility of editing the value.
— Manually turn the wheel forward or backward to
obtain the value corresponding to that measured or
read (or alternately press on the green arrows), then
press again to assign the value.
