5.12 Profi les
The profi les function is used to optimise the workshop
activities, by reducing downtimes to a minimum by
allowing various users to use the balancer at the same
time on different memory levels.
5.12.1 Using Profi les
If the fi rst user interrupts the work, leaving the machine
momentarily, another operator can start working with
another wheel. The data for the work in progress
are automatically saved and can be recalled in the
PROFILES panel with the key (U).
Any operational phase can be interrupted saving the
data.
The function saves the following data in the memory:
– Nominal wheel dimensions
– Values measured
– Weights position (Alu mode)
– Type of vehicle
– Traceability positions (list from 1 to 9)
– Number of spokes (if loaded previously)
– Reference step of the Optimisation/Minimisation.
To save a Profi le
From the WHEEL DATA ENTRY menu (Fig. 5-51)
— Acquire the wheel dimensions and any further
information to save; number of spokes, unit of
measurement, type of ALU, etc.:
Select:
— "USER" (U).
The current data are automatically saved in the list
of PROFILES (Fig. 5-66), overwriting an old item in
the list.
To recall a Profi le
From the WHEEL DATA ENTRY menu (Fig. 5-51)
Select:
— "PROFILES" (P).
The WHEEL PROFILES screen is displayed (Fig. 5-66)
— Highlight the relevant profi le (1),
— "Recall data" (Y).
In the WHEEL DATA ENTRY panel; the alternative
user is selected.
