5.4.2 Status at switching on
The electronics is factory programmed so that upon
machine start-up the following operating modes are
pre-set:
–
vehicle type 1 (car wheel with nominal
dimensions in inches, width 6.5" and diameter
15.0")
–
entry of rim data in inches
–
display of amount of unbalance in 5 g increments
–
suppression of minor unbalances (limit set to:
3.5 g)
–
automatic braking of wheel when guard is
opened during the measuring run
–
compensation of adaptor unbalance

The measuring run is started by closing the
wheel guard.
5.4.3
Direct Settings
The unit of measurement indicated by default at power
up is inches, but the setting selected before switching
off in grams / ounces remains.
5.4.3.1 Dimension Unit Toggle
Default diameter and width unit setting: inches.
• Press the "mm" or "inch" icon (6b, Fig.5-13).
The measuring unit changes to the possible alternative.
5.4.3.2 Weight Unit Toggle
Default weight setting:
Select before or after performing a run, indifferently.
• Press the key "g" or "oz" icon (7b, Fig.5-13).
The measuring unit changes to the possible alternative.
