The pedal also controls the POWER CLAMP, for
clamping the wheel on the balancer.

pedal.
5.2.1
Clamping / unclamping the wheel
The electronics is so programmed that after turning
on the machine, the clamping jaws remain in their
current position and any movement must be activated
intentionally by activating the pedal.
5.2.1.1 Clamping the wheel
Note:
Before clamping the wheel make sure the
contact surfaces of the device and the rim are free
from dirt and grease.
Move the clamping jaws to unclamped position (Fig.
•
5-4).
Slide the centring cone or centring ring, suitable for
•
the diameter of the wheel centre bore, on the chuck
(Fig. 5-5).
Position the wheel to be clamped on the centring
•
cone or ring.
Keep the wheel vertical USING THE LEFT HAND.
•
USING THE RIGHT HAND grasp the plastic sleeve
•
of the chosen clamping tool, insert on the shaft and
press fi rmly against the wheel (Fig. 5-6).
