TROUBLESHOOTING AND COUNTERMEASURES

10-1 ENGINE TROUBLES AND COUNTERMEASURES

If the engine does not function properly, contact your dealer or the specified service plant.

10-2 HYDRAULIC DUMP TROUBLES AND COUNTERMEASURES

Cylinder power is insufficient.
Deck body retaining is
insufficient.
It takes much time to raise deck
body.
Deck body movement is
opposite to the control lever
operation.
Abnormal noise is created.
Piston rod does not move when
control lever is operated.
Possible cause of trouble
Oil is insufficient.
Air is intruded into suction pipe.
Oil viscosity is improper.
Safety valve is released.
Pump is excessively worn out.
Piston is defective.
Piston Packing is defective.
Oil is leaking from oil pressure hose.
Oil is leaking from cylinder packing area.
Control valve spool or valve is defective or
worn out.
Pump fittings are loose.
Oil is leaking from piping.
Piston packing is worn out or broken.
Oil is leaking from valve spools area.
Oil is leaking from poston.
Oil is leaking from oil pressure hose.
Power package is excessively worn.
Engine speed is insufficient.
Piston or packing is worn out.
Control valve spool is worn out.
Oil is leaking, out of cylinder or piping.
Safety valve is released.
Piping is wrong.
Oil is insufficient.
Air is intruded into suction oil.
Pipes, hoses or joints are deformed.
Oil viscosity is too high.
Pump gears or bearings are worn out.
Geared pump is in cavitation (due to cold
weather).
Geared pump is defective.
Cylinder piston is defective.
Countermeasure
Check and replenish.
Check and tighten up.
Replace it with specified oil.
Disassemble, check and clean.
Check, repair or replace.
Replace cylinder.
Replace as assembly.
