4-1 OPERATIONAL PRECAUTION
CAUTION
To avoid personal injury:
• Pay attention to the following points when
running on a steep slope.
(1)

" F O R WA R D " m o d e, a nd d e s c e nd t h e s l o p e in
"REVERSE" mode.
(2)
When the machine is empty, ascend slope in "REVERSE"
mode, and descend theslope in "FORWARD" mode.
(3)
When descending a slope, set the speed change lever at
"Low" to obtain engine brake effect.
(4)
Do not turn the direction of the machine while ascending
a slope. This is very dangerous because the machine is
reversely turned.
(5)
When the engine stops during ascending a slope, apply
the brake, then start the engine. If the machine is not
braked, it will roll down the slope too fast.
(6)
It is very dangerous to operate the machine aslant or in
parallel with the contour line. Be sure to run the machine
at right angles to contour line.
(7)
Do not run the machine with deck body raised. It not only
obstructs the view but also causes the machine to be
unbalanced.
(8)
The machine should be operated on a ground which is
strong enough to withstand the weight of the machine.
Be aware of this point when the machine is loaded in
particular.
(9)
Travel the machine as straight as possible, avoiding sharp
turns.
(10) Avoid running over an obstruction. If it is unavoidable, do
not operate the machine immoderately but move it very
slowly.
IMPORTANT
• When running over an obstruction, slowly move the
machine onto its top; stop it just before leaning forward;
when the machine has been balanced in slanted
position, slowly move it forward. It is very dangerous
to drive the machine onto the obstruction in slanted
position.
(11) Do not overload the machine. Otherwise, the machine life
will greatly shorten and there is a danger of falling down.
When the machine is operated on a slope or soft ground,
decrease the loading capacity of machine.

DEPLACEMENT
4-1 PRECAUTIONS DE FONCTIONNEMENT
ATTENTION
Pour éviter des blessures corporelles:
• Faire attention aux points suivants en cas de
conduite sur une pente raide.
((1) Lorsque la machine est chargée, monter la pente en
mode "FORWARD" (marche avant) et la descendre en
mode "REVERSE" (marche arrière).
(2)
Quand la benne est vide, monter les côtes en marche
avant et les descendre en marche arrière.
(3)
En descendant une pente, régler le rapport à la vitesse "L"
pour obtenir des effets de frein-moteur.
(4)
Ne pas changer la direction de la machine pendant
l'ascension d'une pente. Ceci est trés dangereux car la
machine est en marche arriére.
(5)
Quand le moteur s'arrête durant une montée, mettre le
frein à main puis démarrer en nouveau. Si la machine
n'est pas freinée, elle descendra la pente trop vite.
(6)
Il est trés dangereux de faire avancer la machine sur
une pente de travers ou perpendiculairement à la pente.
Toujours faire avancer la machine dans le sens de la
pente.
(7)
Ne pas se déplacer avec la benne levée. Non seulement
cela obstrue la vision mais déséquilibre également la
machine.
(8)
La machine doit être utilisée sur un sol suffisamment
résistant pour soutenir son poids. Faire toujours attention
à ce point surtout lorsque la machine est chargée.
(9)
Se déplacer avec la machine le plus droit possible, éviter
les tournants brusques.
(10) Eviter de franchir un obstacle. S'il est inévitable, ne pas
utiliser la machine de manière immodérée, mais la faire
avancer très lentement.
IMPORTANT
• En cas de franchissement d'un obstacle important,
avancer lentement la machine sur le haut de l'obstacle ;
l'arrêter juste au point d'équilibre ; lorsque la machine s'est
stabilisée en position inclinée, la faire avancer lentement.
Il est très dangereux de faire avancer la machine sur
l'obstacle en position inclinée.
(11) Ne pas surcharger la machine. Sinon sa durée de
vie serait grandement diminuée et il y aurait risque
de renversement. Quand la machine travaille sur un
terrain mou ou en pente importante, ne pas la charger
complètement.
