1. Introduction

These operating instructions describe all of the key functions of the throttle and provide
information about potential dangers and how to avoid them.
All users of the throttle should read and understand the operating instructions.
The operating instructions must be kept to hand for future use and stored near the throttle.
Please ensure that you are always using the latest version of the operating instructions.
The latest version of the operating instructions can be downloaded from the internet at
www.torqeedo.com under the "Service Center" tab.
Software updates can lead to changes in the operating instructions.

2. Scope of supply

4. Operation

4.1 Display and menus
Main screen
The throttle has three main screens:
• Speed mode: central display of the GPS speed
• Power mode: central display of the motor power
• Range mode: central display of the remaining travel time, distance and battery charge status

Speed of the boat over ground. Travel through the water is NOT displayed.

• Battery charge status (SOC)
Indicates the relative charge status in relation to the total capacity of all batteries.
Please note that the SOC display gives an accurate and reliable reading only if original
Torqeedo batteries are used.
• Range
Remaining range with current SOC, motor power and speed. Caution: Always allow
for a slightly greater range than required. The range is affected significantly by the
