8.2 Language setting
You can change the language selected under Main menu
Both submenus are at the end of their respective lists to enable this setting to be changed
even if the language has been altered accidentally.
8.3 Maximum speed
You can set the maximum boat speed for the circular display in Speed mode on the boat.
You will find the corresponding setting menu under:
Main menu Settings Display
Remember that the speed displayed refers to travel over ground.

9. Operation

9.1 Setting off
- Remove and stow the charging cable, if connected.
- Put the throttle into neutral.
- Start the system by pressing the on/off switch.
- As soon as the neutral icon on the display turns white, the system is ready to use
Tip: Test the movement function before you cast off by accelerating slightly.
9.2 Charging
To charge your Torqeedo drive system, please switch it off at the throttle and plug in
the charger.
Before setting off, always ensure that the charging cable is unplugged and stowed safely.
If you are using a Torqeedo fast charger, you can set the maximum AC charging current
in the event that the land power installation is not adequately protected, for example.

9.3 Hydrogeneration
All Torqeedo Fixed Pod motors (FP) have the option to recover energy through the drive
system while sailing. This function is disabled by default. It can be activated as follows:

9.4 TorqTrac
This throttle has a Bluetooth interface. This allows the Torqeedo TorqTrac app to be used
without any other accessories. Enable the Bluetooth transmission function (Main menu
Settings Bluetooth) and connect to your Torqeedo drive system through the app.
9.5 Wi-Fi
The Wi-Fi function is used to carry out software updates, but is not required for normal
operation of the throttle. It is therefore advisable to disable this function (Main menu
Settings Wi-Fi).
9.6 Troubleshooting
In the event of a warning or fault, messages are shown on the display consisting of
an icon and a fault text. The icon displayed indicates the component in question and in
some cases the problem.
The fault text provides a brief explanation of the problem and the restrictions resulting
from it.
