BIORAPTOR™ Suture Anchor

Device Description

The Smith & Nephew BIORAPTOR Suture Anchor
is a fixation device intended to provide secure
attachment of soft tissue to bone. The device
consists of a suture anchor with attached
non-absorbable suture(s) preassembled to an
insertion device. This device is provided sterile,
for single use only.

1 ea Non-absorbable suture anchor, 2.3 mm
diameter – PEEK-OPTIMA
(polyetheretherketone)
1 ea Insertion device – stainless steel shaft
with polycarbonate and ABS handle

• White – braided, uncoated, UHMW polyethylene
• White/Blue – braided, uncoated, UHMW
polyethylene with monofilament polypropylene

• White/Green – braided, silicone-coated,
polyester (USP), non-absorbable

– Capsular shift or capsulolabral

Foot and Ankle
• Hallux valgus repairs
• Medial or lateral instability
