Troubleshooting
Warning
Pay attention to the alignment of the bleed valve and the drain plug when draining the
pump. Make sure that nobody can be injured by the escaping fluid and wear the appro-
priate personal protective equipment.
Fault
1. Motor does not start when it is
switched on.
2. Motor safety cut-out trips immediately
as soon motor is switched on
3. Motor safety cut-out occasionally trips
4. Motor safety cut-out has not tripped
but pump fails to run
5. Pump performance irregular
6. Pump runs but does not pump any fluid
7. After being switched off, pump rotates
in opposite direction
8. Leak at the shaft seal
