Faults

If the fault cannot be eliminated with the help of the fault table, please inform Customer Service.
Please specify the type of centrifuge and the serial number. Both numbers can be found on the name plate of the
centrifuge.

Operating faults

Fault
Incomplete wash cycle
Pellet does not form on the base
of the centrifuge container
No pellet/pellet too small
The liquid is not decanted.
Cause
− A 24-fold rotor is being used, even
though a 12-fold rotor has been set as
the rotor type.
− The filling volume is set too low.
− The injection nozzles are blocked.
− The revolutions per minute during the
centrifugation run for the agglutination
test are too low.
− The tube holders are left hanging in
the decantation position.
− A 12-fold rotor is being used, even
though a 24-fold rotor has been set as
the rotor type.
− The filling volume is set too high.
− The rotor mechanism is defective.
Remedy
− Check the ROTOR: parameter in
the programme.
− Check the SALINE (ml) parameter
in the programme.
− Clean the injection nozzles.
− Check the rotor function.
− Check the ROTOR: parameter in
the program.
