Centrifugation program Spin

SPIN
On the Spin (S) program position a centrifugation program can be saved. In this program only the speed and the
running time can be adjusted.
15.1.5

Cleaning program (Clean Program)

To avoid the formation of salt crystals the system must be rinsed through daily after use with distilled water. Before
the next use the system must be refilled again with saline solution.
This is performed with the help of the cleaning program (Clean Program).
FILL DCNT
SPIN
In this program no adjustments can be made.
The program consists of the following steps:
1. FILL
At a speed of 1100 RPM 10 ml of distilled water is filled into each tube (120 ml with the 12 x rotor and 240 ml
with the 24 x rotor).
2. SPIN
Centrifugation run with a running time of 10 seconds and a speed of 1500 RPM.
3. DCNT
Decanting.
The distilled water is decanted at a speed of 600 RPM. For decanting the rotor turns in the reverse direction.
4. AGIT
Shaking is performed 5 times.
5. DCNT
Decanting.
The distilled water is decanted at a speed of 600 RPM. For decanting the rotor turns in the reverse direction.
6. Refill process
The tubes are refilled with saline solution again. 60 ml of saline solution is pumped through the tubes.
A container must be held in front of the injection pipe to catch the distilled water.
