Solution
Check ignition spark: Set the motor switch
to "ON". Then unscrew the candle. The
appliance must be stationary. Hold the
grounding part of the candle to a grounding
part of the appliance. Pull the cable through.
No ignition spark visible afterwards: Check
the fuel supply. The float may become
wedged in the carburetor during shipping.
Open the screw at the bottom of the
carburetor and pull off the cover. The float
is then open and must be made operable. It
must not be obstructed by adjacent parts.
Check the spark plug connector for damage
and correct fit.
Check cable connections from the motor
switch, terminals may have come loose
during shipping.
Clean or replace spark plug. Replace the
plug connector.
Check the entire fuel system for leaks and
shut down if necessary.
Always leave approx. 1/3 of the fuel tank
unfilled. There are two locking lugs on the
inside of the fuel filler cap, these can be bent
slightly more towards the fuel filler cap. The
fuel filler cap is then pressed more firmly
against the fuel tank.
The motor switch on the control panel must
be transferred. Only then is there voltage on
the sockets.
