Hot surfaces. Avoid contact with hot appliance parts. Muffler, exhaust and
engine may still be hot - allow parts to cool down.
• If you are not using the appliance, set it down in such a way that no one is
endangered.
• Switch off the engine.
• Disconnect all consumers from the appliance.
Never store the appliance with gasoline in the tank. Empty the fuel tank when
the appliance is stored. Drain the oil.
• Empty the gasoline from the tank.
• Drain the oil.
It is easier to drain the oil when the engine is still warm.
• Observe the environmental regulations for the disposal of operating materials.
• Store the device in a lockable area so that it is inaccessible to children and
unauthorized persons.
Storage- Drying the carburetor
Drying the carburetor makes it easier to start the engine later on.
• Disconnect all consumers from the appliance.
• Close the fuel tap while the appliance is still running. The appliance continues to run
until the fuel in the fuel hose and carburetor is completely used up.
• The appliance stops after the fuel has been used up.
Only store the device under the following conditions:
• Do not store outdoors.
• Store in a dry and dust-free place.
• Do not expose to aggressive dust and rain.
• Protect from sunlight.
• Avoid mechanical shocks.
• For longer storage periods (> 3 months) regularly general condition all parts and
• check the packaging. If necessary - replace!
