Clean tank strainer
• Empty the tank.
• Open the tank cap.
• Remove the tank strainer.
• Clean the tank strainer with a dry cloth and short bursts of air pressure.
• Insert the tank strainer.
• Close the fuel filler cap.
If the tank strainer is full of holes or can no longer be cleaned, replace the tank
strainer, see section Spare parts, p. 36.
Cleaning the fuel filter
The fuel filter must be cleaned regularly to ensure maximum engine performance.
Cleaning is carried out every 300 hours or every six months and the fuel filter is
replaced every 1000 hours or after one year.
• Drain the oil, see page 24.
• Set the fuel tap to OFF.
• Loosen the fuel tap hose.
