• Ensure that other people, including animals, keep a safe distance from the work area.

• Wear appropriate work gloves for all work.
• Always wear clothing that is practical and close-fitting,
but not restrictive.
• Always wear clothing made of sturdy material for all work.
• Stop the motor and wait until the appliance has cooled down
before making appliance settings, servicing accessories or
putting the appliance away. This precautionary measure
prevents the device from starting unintentionally.
• Keep air slots and the housing free of dust and dirt. Blow out the appliance with
compressed air at low pressure.
Risk of fire, explosion and hot surfaces
• The appliance can generate sparks that can ignite dust, flammable liquids or vapors.
The appliance must not be used in the vicinity of flammable materials or explosive
gases.
• The exhaust system becomes hot and remains hot for some time after the engine has
stopped, flammable materials can be set on fire and explosive gases can explode.
