Drain oil
Danger to the environment! Never allow oil to get into the ground. The
drinking water is poisoned. Use a suitable base and collection container.
• Place the appliance on an oil-resistant surface.
• Place a suitable collecting container under the oil filler opening.
• Unscrew the oil filler neck.
• Tilt the appliance at an appropriate angle.
• Drain the oil.
• Close the oil filler neck again.
Clean the air filter
Clean the air filter after 100 operating hours or three months. Then replace after 300
operating hours or after 6 months.
• Empty the tank.
• Switch the fuel tap to OFF.
• Open the cover of the air filter housing.
• Remove the air filter from the air filter housing, Fig. 13.
• Wash the filter carefully in lukewarm soapy water, Fig. 14.
• Rinse the filter thoroughly with clean water.
• Carefully wring out the filter and allow it to dry.
• Oil the filter carefully, Fig. 15.
• Soak the entire filter in oil.
• Use engine oil.
• Close the cover of the filter housing.
If necessary, replace the filter.
