E Target pulse programme (THR)
DANGER
Make sure you always work out with the target pulse
specifi cation suitable for you. Observe the notes and
the exercise parameters chapter.
Health risk!
As soon as your pulse drops below or rises above the
heart rate (+/- 5) set in this programme, the computer
will automatically adjust the intensity level (every 20 se-
conds). The intensity levels will increase or decrease du-
ring your workout in dependence on your pulse.
Select the target pulse programme (THR) with the UP/
DOWN buttons and confi rm the programme with the
ENTER button. The fi rst parameter, TIME, will begin to
fl ash in the lower left display. Use the UP/DOWN buttons
and the ENTER button to select a required value or a fur-
ther parameter. Finally, press the START/STOP button (ST/
SP) to begin the workout.
Please note that when entering the SPECIFIED TIME,
not all parameters can be set at the same time.
As soon as one of the preset parameters has counted
down to zero, you will hear an acoustic signal and the
exercise programme will stopautomatically. If you have
preset further parameters, you can continue the pro-
gramme after pressing the START/STOP button.

Please note that when entering the SPECIFIED TIME,
not all parameters can be set at the same time.
As soon as one of the preset parameters has counted
down to zero, you will hear an acoustic signal and the
exercise programme will stopautomatically. If you have
preset further parameters, you can continue the pro-
gramme after pressing the START/STOP button.
