Linearization via supporting points
u
Select "Stepwise linear Adjustment"; the "Adjustment supporting points" menu is dis
played. Open this menu.
u
Enter the number of supporting points, between 2 and 21. Note that the zero point is a
supporting point. So if you want to enter a straight line, select two supporting points.
("Adjustment Number of Supporting Points" menu item).
u
Under "Adjustment X" enter the force preset by the calibration system. Under "Adjust
ment Y" enter the measurement result shown in the calibration certificate that corre
sponds to the respective force.
u
It is important to start with the most negative force, as that is the highest tensile force.
On compressive force-only sensors , 0 N is defined as the "highest tensile force".
