The amplifier module has additional functions, such as digital low-pass filters, a peak
value memory (slave pointer function) or limit value switches (as per the Smart Sensors
Profile).
The electronics permanently monitors the output signal, so you will be warned if any criti
cal operating states are set. These may be both thermal and mechanical overloads.
The data is transferred to the PLC via an IO-LINK master – in accordance with the stan
dard IEC 61131-9 (IO-Link). The electric connection is also defined in this standard.
8.2.2.2
Electrical connection
An IO-Link master is connected to the M12 plug. The pin assignment conforms to the
IO-Link standard (Class A). Please refer to the following table:
