8. When you cut the rebar (C) longitudinally, you must
cut the rebar according to the illustration in order
to create a smaller cutting surface and to keep the
blade sharp. You can also start to cut from the other
end of the cut since it is not certain that the rebar
follows the cut the whole way.
C
Note:
A lower rotation speed of the blade
decreases the risk of polished blade in hard
materials.
9. Use maximum longitudinal feeding speed for optimal
sawing performance. The software in the power pack
continually and automatically regulates the feeding
for optimal sawing performance.
10. When over cutting is not allowed, you should use
a hand cutter after a completed wall cutting, and
from the rear of the concrete block cut out the uncut
distance (wedge). Use the PRIME power cutters,
connected to the lower outlet on PP 8. The transport
trolley also has a designated place for a hand cutter.
11. Remove the blade from the sawing groove after
each cut.
12. After you have finished to wall saw, feed the blade
fully out of the sawing groove and shut down the
blade rotation and water flow.
CAUTION:
rotate without pressure on the blade
segments for an extended period.
This will make the blade dull.
13. Stop the power pack and the water flow.
