General product maintenance
Make sure that the machine stop button operates correctly. Refer to
remote control machine stop button on page 16 .
Maintenance of the PP 8
WARNING:
from the power supply and wait minimum 5
minutes before you start the maintenance
CAUTION:
washer to clean the power pack. The high
pressure can cause damage to the seals
and cause water and dirt to come into the
power pack.
To clean the power pack
CAUTION:
washer to clean the product.
CAUTION:
the electrical components.
Clean the outside of the power pack. Use a heavy
duty handheld brush or a large paint brush.
Clean the connectors and pins. Use a cloth or a
brush.
To examine the power pack
Make sure the power pack is not damaged and
cracked or damaged in any other way.
Make sure that all couplings, connections, hoses and
cables are in good condition and not damaged.
To clean the water filter on the power pack
Clean the filter in the water connector inlet.
Loosen the coupling with a 16 mm wrench.
Remove dirt from the filter with compressed air.
Fasten the coupling.

1. Disassemble the wall saw. Refer to
the product on page 27 .
2. Clean all couplings, connections, hoses and cables.
Use the water hose, a brush and cloth.
3. Clean and lubricate the contact pins.
4. Lubricate the sleeves of the water couplings.
5. Clean the blade guard thoroughly inside and out in
order to prevent dirt from drying into the guard.
6. Clean and lubricate the moving parts and springs of
the machine, such as the handle's locking function
and the blade guard guide spring mechanism. Spray
with a cleaning and lubricating spray.
7. Dry all movable parts. Lubricate all parts with oil
spray to prevent corrosion.
To examine the wall saw
1. Make sure the blade and blade guard are not
damaged and cracked or damaged in any other way.
2. Replace the blade guard and/or blade if they have
been exposed to abnormal wear.
3. Make sure that the blade guard guide wheel turns
without too much resistance, and that the guide
is correctly aligned with the blade guard and the
saw. See the assembly and settings when adjusting
sections.
